FAQs
Frequently asked questions
What is free company formation, and how does it work?
Free company formation lets you register a UK limited company at no cost when you sign up for our accounting and tax services. We handle the registration and incorporation with Companies House. You choose a company name and provide the necessary details.
What type of companies can I form for free?
The service covers private limited companies (Ltd). For other entities, such as an LLP or a non-profit, contact us to discuss options.
How long does it take to form my company?
Most UK limited companies are formed within 24 to 48 hours, subject to Companies House processing times. Directors and PSCs must complete identity verification before submission, so we recommend doing this first. Incorporation documents are emailed once the company is approved.
What documents do I need to provide?
A valid proof of ID (passport or driving licence), proof of address dated within the last 3 months, details of directors and shareholders, completed Companies House identity verification for each director and PSC including their personal code, and a registered email address for the company.
Do you offer any additional services after company formation?
Yes: bookkeeping and accounting, annual accounts and filings, corporation tax returns, VAT registration and returns, payroll and PAYE, confirmation statements, and ongoing compliance and deadline management.
